ISO 14064-1:2006 (Greenhouse Gases)

The ISO 14064-1 norm is a climate policy neutral which addresses the quantification and reporting of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and removals on an organizational level. It includes requirements for the design, development, management, reporting and verification of an organization's GHG inventory.

Consists of three components:

  • pecification with guidance for the validation and verification of greenhouse gas assertions

GHG Protocol

GHG Protocol: Corporate Accounting and Reporting Standard is designed to improve the rigor, quality, and user-friendly. It provides step by step guidance on calculating GHG emissions from specific sources (e.g., stationary and mobile combustion, process emissions) and industry sectors (e.g., cement, pulp and paper aluminum, iron and steel and office-based organizations). It covers the accounting and reporting of the Six Greenhouse Gases:

  • Perfluorotributylamine (PFTBA)
  • Water Vapor
